Job description

A exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineers to join a world leading manufacturer of Machine Interfaces. In this role you will support the growth, processes and solutions to the blue chip companies. In return you will have a salary of 45,000– 50,000, Pension scheme, Regular Monday to Friday hours and career progression.

The responsibilities for the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer are:

• Produce 3D designs using SolidWorks
• Create detailed drawings to BS 888 standards
• Aid production engineering and production teams on ways to improve and resolve issues.
• Provide support to the junior engineers
• Preform fault analysis and technical investigations.
• Prepare product specifications, technical and test reports to professional standards.

The requirements for the Senior Mechanical Design Engineers are:

• Bachelors' or Masters Degree qualified
• Experienced working on multiple projects and confident in Project Management.
• Proficient user of SolidWorks and Microsoft Office tools
• Solid understanding and experience regarding commonly used manufacturing processes including plastic injection–moulding and CNC milling is essential.
• MRP experience is advantageable
