Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Cambridge – Salary GBP55k – GBP65k + excellent benefits

As the Senior Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for:

1. Understanding a problem and creating concepts
2. Building proof–of–principle test rigs in laboratory to demonstrate a solution
3. Mentoring
4. Project Management
5. Team leadership
6. Mechanical design
7. Prototyping and testing
8. Design for manufacture and assembly
9. Reporting on work and presenting to clients

Requirements:

1. A first or upper second BEng/MEng degree in engineering from a leading university and excellent A–levels including maths
2. A PhD and/or commercial experience in technical product development
3. An enthusiasm for innovation and the tenacity to succeed
4. The ambition to grow your career with a rapidly expanding company
