Salary: £55,000 - £75,000

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and engineering a range of mechanical, electromechanical, and hydromechanical systems. These high-performance solutions must withstand extreme loads, harsh environmental conditions, and varying tolerances while integrating seamlessly with advanced control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the mechanical design and development of robust and high-performance onboard systems.
2. Utilize parametric modeling and FEA tools to design, analyze, and optimize mechanical components.
3. Develop cost-effective and adaptable solutions that align with stringent time and budget constraints.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
5. Drive continuous innovation by identifying and implementing new technologies and design improvements.

What We’re Looking For:

1. Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. Strong background in high-performance mechanical system design, ideally within the marine, automotive, or heavy-duty precision sectors.
3. Extensive experience in parametric modeling and FEA simulation.
4. Proven ability to take designs from concept to delivery in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
5. A passion for innovation and a keen eye for cutting-edge engineering solutions.
