Job summary

Balfour Beatty VINCI is recruiting a Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer for the HS2 project in the Midlands. You will coordinate design and engineering activities for pumping stations and portal buildings, reviewing designs and supporting the Design Manager to ensure safe, efficient delivery.

Ideally Chartered or working towards professional accreditation, with experience in major infrastructure or rail projects, and strong stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer or working towards accreditation.
• Experience delivering complex infrastructure/building services projects in multidisciplinary environments.
• Strong understanding of design management and technical assurance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design and engineering activities for pumping stations and portal buildings.
• Review designs from consultants, suppliers and subcontractors for compliance with requirements.
• Promote safe-by-design principles and support technical assurance processes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Liaise with stakeholders to resolve issues and support design approvals.
