Title: Senior Mechanical Analysis Engineer - Join a Revolutionary Nuclear Engineering Team!

Introductory Paragraph:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join their innovative nuclear engineering team in Warrington. As the Senior Mechanical Analysis Engineer, you will play an essential role in providing expert mechanical analysis support for our client's cutting-edge projects.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering
- A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Stress/Analysis/Mechanical engineer

Skills & Experience:

  • Stress Analyst - You should have extensive knowledge and proficiency working with stress analysis tools such as ANSYS, MathCAD.
  • FEA (Finite Element) Expertise - Proven ability to manage Finite Element modelling techniques on machinery / mechanical handling equipment or Heavy Engineered Structures
  • Ability to perform structural design calculations using STAADPRO software applications would be advantageous
  • Mechanical Calculation Guru - Demonstrable skills handling complex numerical equations used within mechanical calculation procedures
  • Machinery Mastermind - Competent knowledge around various types of plant machinery structures including material properties selection

Sector Knowledge:
Nuclear Industry Understanding - Prior experience working within the nuclear industry and/or heavy regulated industries (Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Pharma, Defence etc)

The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal, coupled with the ability to work independently when required, whilst also demonstrating leadership qualities to assist junior members in developing further into this field.
