Job summary

Samsung Electronics UK is seeking a Senior MCX Engineer to lead testing, performance, and operations for MCX Core within the Samsung Networks Europe team. You will drive defect triage, analytics, and regression testing across VMware-based Core nodes, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet SLAs and project milestones.

The role requires deep expertise in 4G/5G Core, IMS/VoLTE, and experience with tools like Wireshark, IXIA, and Jira/ServiceNow.

Qualifications

Background in 4G/5G Core, IMS, and MCPTX features.
Experience testing Mission Critical Voice/Video/Data services on VoLTE networks.
Experience with network diagnostic tools and ticketing systems (Wireshark, Jira, ServiceNow).
VMware VM deployments and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

Provide daily SME support for defect triage to resolve complex networks issues.
Manage trouble tickets and ensure R&D information is captured and used for fixes.
Lead deep dive analytics and fault investigations of test cases within SLAs.
Peer-Review and release daily test progress reports to show risks to timelines.
Lead performance analysis and troubleshooting of the MCX Core.
Plan sw upgrades and regression testing on VNF cores with clear MOPs.
