Yeomans Citroën in Torquay is seeking a Senior/Diagnostic or Master Technician to diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues using advanced diagnostic equipment and manufacturer-specific tools. The role involves leading the service team, mentoring junior technicians and delivering clear cost estimates to customers.

The ideal candidate has extensive automotive repair and diagnostics experience, knowledge of engine management, hybrid/electric systems, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• A valid Vehicle Diagnostic or Master Technician certification is desirable but not required.
• Extensive experience in automotive repair and diagnostics.
• Knowledge of engine management, hybrid and electric systems, and advanced safety features.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid UK driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical and electronic vehicle issues.
• Use advanced diagnostic equipment and manufacturer-specific tools.
• Stay updated on automotive technology and industry advancements.
• Participate in training and certification programs.
• Explain repair needs clearly to customers and provide accurate cost estimates.
• Lead and mentor junior technicians in the service department.
• Ensure repairs meet manufacturer standards and comply with safety and environmental regulations.
