Job summary

London Borough of Richmond upon Thames and London Borough of Wandsworth seek an Experienced Advanced Practitioner for the MASH to lead and support practitioners ensuring children and families access the right services at the right time.

You will work within a co-located team with Police, Health, Education and other partners, supported by Family and Systemic Psychotherapists and Practice Specialists to guide decision-making and improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Qualified and registered Social Worker with Social Work England, with ASYE completed.
• Strong understanding of current legislation and London Safeguarding Children Procedure.
• Ability to provide clear consultation to partners about referrals to the MASH.
• Ability to supervise students or junior practitioners to ensure learning and safeguarding.
• Commitment to relational practice and cross-agency collaboration to deliver outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support practitioners within the MASH to ensure timely access to services for children and young people.
• Provide consultation to partner agencies about referrals and practice across the partnership.
• Contribute to the improvement plan and support continuous learning and professional development.
• Collaborate with Family and Systemic Psychotherapists and Practice Specialists for guidance and quality assurance.
