We’re In Digital, a thriving digital growth agency based in Covent Garden and ranked as one of the best places to work in the UK – and we’re currently seeking a Senior Marketing Scientist join our brilliant team of marketers! This is a pivotal role for an experienced data scientist or marketing analyst ready to drive real-world business outcomes across growth marketing, CRM, media optimisation, and beyond.

Who we’re looking for – at a glance:

  • Expert in marketing-focused data science, comfortable developing LTV, attribution, and propensity models
  • Hands-on experience building robust data pipelines, BI dashboards, and clean reporting layers
  • Passionate about connecting the dots between data, customer behaviour, and strategic decisions
  • Skilled communicator with experience presenting insights to marketers and senior stakeholders
  • Comfortable switching gears between coding, modelling, storytelling, and consulting

We understand that no one can do everything, and this role spans a wide remit — so we’re looking for someone with deep skills in some areas, and interest in learning others. The full scope of the role will flex depending on your strengths.

Key responsibilities:

Modelling & Data Science:

  • Develop LTV, propensity and attribution models to support growth, customer experience, and paid media
  • Build MMM and bespoke models in response to client needs
  • Ensure outputs are practical, explainable and drive business decisions

Reporting & Data Visualisation:

  • Define reporting strategies for stakeholders – who needs what, when, and why
  • Design high-impact BI dashboards that bring clarity and insight
  • Deliver recommendations that are both data-rich and action-focused
  • Configure analytics tools such as GA4 and Adobe Analytics to track the right data

Data engineering:

  • For smaller clients: centralise and clean marketing data using proprietary tools
  • For larger clients: manage ETL processes and build scalable, clean tables
  • Lay strong data foundations to enable analytics, reporting and modelling

Consulting & insight activation:

  • Translate analysis into actionable guidance for media, CRO, CRM and creative
  • Lead or support trading and insight meetings with clients
  • Help teams across In Digital and our clients make better, more data-informed decisions

A bit about you:

  • Solid experience in at least three of the key responsibility areas above
  • Hands-on with tools like SQL, Python/R, BigQuery, Snowflake or similar
  • Proficient in BI tools like Looker, Tableau or Power BI
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Deep understanding of marketing data infrastructure and data collection best practices
  • Degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g. Stats, Economics, Data Science) is a plus

Bonus points for:

  • Experience in Media, CRO, CRM or creative optimisation
  • Familiarity with mobile attribution (e.g. AppsFlyer, Adjust)
  • Background in agency or consulting environments
