£40,000 - £46,000 per annum
Working Pattern:
40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, with flexibility to work 1-2 days from home
Role Overview:
The Senior Marketing Manager will oversee all marketing activities at their assigned university or college site. Reporting to the Account Director - Universities, this role ensures effective implementation of marketing strategies to boost student engagement, strengthen brand presence, and support organizational goals. Collaboration with internal teams, university stakeholders, and central marketing is essential to align local efforts with broader organizational strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Marketing Execution & Management:
- Implement and oversee all marketing activities at the assigned site.
- Develop tailored marketing strategies aligned with business and university needs.
- Manage on-site branding, signage, and marketing materials for consistency and impact.
- Oversee social media accounts, ensuring engaging content and community interaction.
- Create and manage digital communications including email campaigns and online content.
- Ensure high-quality content across all channels and platforms.
- Plan and execute student engagement initiatives like Freshers’ Week and other events.
- Collaborate with operational leads on branding and marketing food concepts.
- Manage Social Media Design Executive and Marketing Assistant.
- Client & Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Serve as the primary marketing contact for university and company stakeholders.
- Align marketing efforts with university branding and engagement strategies.
- Coordinate with external marketing teams for messaging and PR.
- Participate in strategy meetings with the Account Director to review performance.
- Performance Analysis & Improvement:
- Monitor and report on marketing metrics such as engagement, sales, footfall, and analytics.
- Use insights to refine marketing strategies for maximum impact.
- Conduct site audits to evaluate marketing effectiveness and identify improvements.
- Support for Openings & Refurbishments:
- Assist with launching new concepts and refurbishments through targeted campaigns.
- Coordinate signage, branding, and customer engagement materials.
- Support digital tool updates and new engagement features.
- Skills & Experience:
- Proven marketing experience, preferably in education, hospitality, or retail sectors.
- Strong understanding of branding, digital marketing, and social media management.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to analyze marketing data and apply insights.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Experience with design tools and digital content platforms is advantageous.
- Qualifications:
- Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
- CIM qualification or equivalent experience preferred.
