Senior Marketing Manager

The Group: Morningstar Wealth offers an integrated suite of products and services for advisers and their clients, enabling advisers to access Morningstar's renowned insights, investment products, powerful technology, and advice practice workflow solutions. Advisers can select a personalised range of products and services that align with their specific business and client needs.

The Role: This role is responsible for the positioning, messaging, and content for Morningstar Wealth's Platform and Subscription products. A deep understanding of the business, our products, services, clients, and the competitive landscape is essential. The role involves defining and articulating the value proposition of the products and features to inform positioning, messaging, and content throughout the annual cycle.

Developing a communication strategy and plan to promote Morningstar Wealth's proposition is central to this role. Content development, stakeholder collaboration, and content curation across the wider Morningstar organization are key responsibilities. Influencing content producers and ensuring content aligns with Wealth's value proposition to deliver value to clients are also crucial.

Responsibilities:

  1. Go-to-market strategy, planning, and execution, including:
  • Value proposition
  • Product positioning and messaging
  • Product launch strategies and messaging
  • Collateral development and maintenance
  • Content curation and production
  • Articulating what we do in a way that aligns with audience needs and opportunities.
  • Contributing to the annual strategy and plan, with the success of the go-to-market strategy depending on this role's themes, topics, and messaging.
  • KPIs include driving leads, MQLs, SQLs, and achieving conversion rates at various funnel stages.
  • Requirements:

    1. 5+ years in product content marketing
    2. Experience in writing, content development, and defining product value propositions
    3. Strong relationship and communication skills
    4. A creative, test-and-learn mindset, coupled with data-driven decision-making
    5. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field
    6. Organizational skills to manage multiple priorities
