Job description

ABOUT MINTAGO: Financial freedom starts here.

Mintago is an innovative financial wellbeing platform that helps both employers and their employees with their financial health. We are on a mission to improve how people manage their financial world. As a socially conscious technology business, we want to make a positive impact on society. We believe in changing people's financial futures through the workplace.

If you sit at the sweet spot between tinkering with technology curiously, loving structure and numbers, but also are creatively driven and love breaking the mould, then this role is for you!

We're looking for a marketing technologist who doesn't just build workflows - you craft surprisingly delightful experiences. Someone who sees HubSpot not as a constraint, but as a creative canvas.

ROLE DEFINITION

You'll own end-to-end delivery of our growth marketing strategy, creatively architecting integrated campaigns as a T-shaped generalist with deep expertise in Marketing Automation, Campaign Management and Website Management.

This is high-impact and hands-on - you'll collaborate with leadership, sales, and product to shape our go-to-market efforts with full creative autonomy in a fast-moving fintech environment.

Your efforts will support the shift from fixed campaign cycles to an always-on strategy, improving campaign speed, creativity, and results across the business. You'll be the person who turns 'we've always done it this way' into 'what if we tried this instead?

What excites you
  • Seeing a beautifully crafted automation sequence hit 40%+ open rates
  • Finding creative workarounds for HubSpot limitations that make colleagues say "how did you do that?"
  • Turning B2B financial concepts into campaigns that actually resonate
  • A/B testing everything because you're genuinely curious about human behaviour
  • Building something from scratch and watching it scale

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Strategy Execution & Campaign Management
  • Own delivery of the marketing strategy set by the Head of Marketing, managing end-to-end marketing operations
  • Lead growth-focused multi-channel campaigns for brand, product, and client upsell, across three major audience groups
  • Measures and assesses channel and campaign performance with the curiosity of a detective
  • Serves as first-line quality assurance with an eye for detail that would make a Swiss watchmaker proud
  • Analyses campaign data, tracks KPIs, and provides regular reports that tell a story
2. Channel Ownership & Execution

HubSpot Marketing Automation: Don't just build workflows - engineer customer journeys that feel personal and surprisingly delightful

  • Build, test, and optimise multi-phase workflows, nurture programmes, and campaigns that people actually want to receive
  • Develop responsive and branded email templates that stand out in crowded inboxes, run A/B testing programmes that explain customer behaviours
  • Develop and manage dynamic lists, segmentation strategies, and behavioural triggers that feel almost psychic
  • Maintain marketing automation best practices including database management, tagging, campaign naming conventions, and UTM structures

Website Management: Turn our website into a beautiful conversion machine that visitors actually want to spend time on

  • Content updates, SEO optimisation, analytics monitoring, conversion rate improvement
  • Liaise with web development freelancers to implement website enhancements, improve functionality, and optimise conversion rates
  • Create and update website content, including landing pages, blog posts, programme pages, and event listings that convert browsers into believers

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Experience & Skills:

  • 6+ years' experience in marketing automation, with at least 3 years in a hands-on campaign build or operations role
  • B2B marketing experience, preferably in fintech or SaaS
  • Certified and proven track record in HubSpot Marketing Hub (workflow building, list segmentation, performance dashboards)
  • Skilled in funnel design, copywriting, and campaign execution
  • Strong understanding of digital campaign strategy, including nurture journeys, A/B testing, and personalisation
  • Data-driven mindset with fluency in CAC, CPL, conversion rates, and attribution
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with product, sales, and leadership teams
  • Familiarity with AI-driven tools for campaign optimisation

The X-Factor:

  • Curiosity-driven approach to marketing technology - you're the person who pushes all the buttons to see “what happens if I press this?!”
  • Creative problem-solving mindset with a strong portfolio of unconventional campaign approaches that worked
  • Natural inclination to question the status quo and propose better ways of doing things
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms to stakeholders
  • Genuine excitement about the intersection of finance and technology
Benefits
  • Your choice of work kit (ThinkPad or MacBook Pro).
  • Hybrid work (2 days in office)
  • Budget for equipment to set up your home office.
  • A flexible company discretionary unlimited leave policy + your birthday off.
  • Flexible company hours so you can fit your life commitments - no company fixed hours as we trust you to manage your time and focus on outcomes delivered.
  • A £300 yearly budget for your own learning and development.
  • Mintago matches your pension contributions up to 4%
  • Private medical insurance (provided by Vitality)
