An opportunity has arisen within our Elysia team for a hands-on, strategic, and highly adaptable Senior Marketing Manager to help build and execute marketing strategies that drive growth, brand awareness, and customer acquisition. You’ll play a key role in defining and implementing our marketing initiatives across all channels, and you’ll work closely with the leadership team and wider Fortescue teams to shape the future of Elysia Brand.

Elysia is principally involved in the development and commercialisation of the Battery Intelligence software, which is revolutionizing the life, safety and performance of battery systems. As a pioneering technology company, we specialize in the development of cutting-edge software solutions that supports, optimises and de-risks the deployment of batteries, from cradle to grave, starting with design and manufacture, through to first-life monitoring and the transition to second-life or recycling.

Our team of brilliant minds and passionate experts is dedicated to pushing the boundaries in software-derived performance, both within embedded BMS and cloud-based domains. We believe in the combination of expertise in electrochemistry, battery systems and data science to build products that empower our customers to unlock the full potential of their battery assets.

Job role:

  • Develop & Implement Growth - Focused Marketing Strategies: Design and execute marketing campaigns that attract new customers, drive engagement, and help grow our brand in a competitive market.
  • Hands-on Campaign Execution: Lead and execute multi-channel campaigns across digital (SEO, social media, email), content, and traditional channels, including events and conferences. You will be directly involved in planning, content creation, campaign setup, coordination, and performance tracking.
  • Brand Building: Help define and refine the company’s brand messaging, ensuring it resonates with our target audience and aligns with our core values and vision, and that of the wider Fortescue business.
  • Rapid Testing & Optimization: Continuously test and optimize campaigns and marketing initiatives. Quickly identify what works and iterate to maximize impact.
  • Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with sales and product teams to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with business goals, customer needs, and product launches.
  • Data- Driven Decision Making: Use data and analytics to drive decisions, measuring the success of campaigns through KPIs, and adjusting strategies accordingly to improve performance.
  • Budget Ownership: Manage and optimize the marketing budget, making data-informed decisions to allocate resources effectively and ensure the highest possible ROI.
  • Customer & Market Insights: Stay close to the customer and the market. Use feedback, data, and research to inform marketing strategies and stay ahead of trends.
  • Growth Mindset: As we scale, you will have the opportunity to shape and evolve the marketing function, experimenting with new channels, tactics, and approaches that are critical to growth.

You’ll have:

  • Proven Marketing Experience: several years proven experience in marketing, ideally in an early-stage or fast-growing technology or software business. Experience in B2B marketing and familiarity with both digital and traditional marketing channels is essential.
  • Hands-on & Agile: You are comfortable being hands-on and taking initiative in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to pivot quickly as business needs change.
  • Growth-Oriented: A deep understanding of growth marketing strategies, from lead generation to conversion optimization.
  • Digital Proficiency: Strong experience with digital marketing techniques including SEO, content marketing, social media strategy, and email marketing.
  • Creativity & Innovation: Ability to think outside the box and implement creative, unconventional strategies to drive customer acquisition and retention.
  • Leadership Potential: Although this is a hands-on role, we are looking for someone with leadership potential who can grow into a larger strategic and managerial role as the business scales.
  • Data-Driven: Strong analytical skills to measure and optimize marketing effectiveness, using metrics to inform decision-making
