Job description
Overview

At WebMD, we’re transforming how healthcare professionals engage with cutting-edge medical content and solutions. As our new Senior Marketing Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the global marketing strategy for Medscape Medical Affairs — our rapidly growing division at the heart of healthcare communications. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated marketer with healthcare experience (agency or in-house) who’s ready to step up, take ownership, and make an impact on a global stage.

The role offers high visibility and impact, creative and strategic freedom, and the chance to work with leading pharma companies, medical organizations, and HCP communities.

Responsibilities
  • Bring campaigns to life — Create compelling sales collateral, tailored client decks, and impactful exhibition materials that stand out at international congresses.
  • Drive digital engagement — Shape our social presence on LinkedIn, plan content calendars, and manage updates to our global corporate website.
  • Empower sales with insight — Collaborate with internal teams to gather and translate member and usage data into stories that win business.
  • Own budgets & delivery — Partner with US colleagues to manage the Medical Affairs marketing budget, ensuring investments deliver measurable results.
  • Collaborate across the business — Act as the marketing connector between leadership, sales teams, and wider stakeholders to ensure activity is aligned, strategic, and effective.
Qualifications
  • 3–4 years’ marketing experience — ideally within healthcare, medical communications, or a similar regulated industry.
  • Strong creative and executional skills — confident in PowerPoint, Office Suite, with bonus points for Pardot, WordPress, Canva, or InDesign.
  • A relationship-builder — able to work cross-functionally and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communicator — with excellent written and verbal skills; fluency in additional languages (French, German, Spanish) is a plus.
  • Proactive, detail-driven, and adaptable — you thrive in fast-paced environments and love turning ideas into action.
What you’ll gain
  • The chance to work on global campaigns that influence some of the biggest names in healthcare.
  • Exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to help shape strategy, not just execution.
  • A collaborative, supportive team where your ideas will be valued and your career can flourish.
