About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced, dedicated, and driven Senior Marketing Executive to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the success of our event campaigns, taking ownership of marketing delivery and strategy, including data/customer insights, mar-tech, digital marketing, copywriting, and social media.

The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, creative, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced event environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, making partnership and collaboration crucial. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in event marketing. Travel will be required, including destinations such as the USA, Spain, Asia, and the UK (subject to event allocation).

Key Objectives:

  1. Achieve set targets for delegate revenue and attendance for each event
  2. Deliver high-caliber event delegates, aligned with target audiences
  3. Handle event marketing budgets effectively to deliver optimal ROI
  4. Implement and execute strategic, customer-centric marketing campaigns across channels like email, social media, paid and organic digital channels, telesales, and more
  5. Develop strategies to increase conversion of prospects and attendee return rates
  6. Ensure all event websites meet quality standards with SEO and conversion optimization in mind
  7. Collaborate with the Senior Marketing Manager and Marketing Director on pricing strategies
  8. Drive the transition to inbound marketing through improved search marketing, social media performance, and content marketing campaigns
  9. Build strong relationships with the event project team, especially sales and production, and communicate marketing progress proactively
  10. Coordinate with internal teams (sales, operations, production, customer service, audience development) to align marketing initiatives with event goals
  11. Implement and communicate marketing processes and plans proactively to the project team

General Indicators of Success:

  1. Increase event attendance and revenue year-on-year
  2. Improve campaign engagement rates across email and social media
  3. Introduce innovative ideas and concepts to campaigns
  4. Generate more leads for tickets and sponsorships
  5. Continuously analyze and optimize campaigns
  6. Enhance online presence and search rankings
  7. Maintain quality control and attention to detail

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in marketing, especially with large-scale event campaigns
  • Strong understanding of the full marketing mix, including digital and traditional tactics
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach
  • Attention to detail and dedication to creating extraordinary experiences
