Job description

400M+ downloads. 75M+ monthly users. A decade of building – and we’re still accelerating.

Flo is the world’s #1 health app on a mission to build a better future for female health. Backed by a $200M investment led by General Atlantic, we became the first product of our kind to reach a $1B valuation in 2024 – and we’re not slowing down.

With 6M paid subscribers and the highest-rated experience in the App Store’s health category, we’ve spent 10 years earning trust at scale. Now, we’re building the next generation of digital health – AI-powered, privacy-first, clinically backed – to help our users know their body better.

The job

The needs of the user is everything to us, and how those needs are served falls under our Product teams.

They’re fact-finders.

They’re builders.

They’re ideators of easy to use, information rich resources across our whole platform who - along with Analytics teams - get to the ‘why’ in order to create unrivaled user experiences.

We’re looking for a data-driven Senior Marketing Copywriter with fantastic copywriting abilities and exceptional collaboration skills who can turn data insights into campaigns that are compelling, revenue-generating, and grounded in what our users truly need.

At Flo, we are product-led to our core. Success in this role means building tight, trust-based relationships with Product and Growth leaders, and showing how creative excellence can be a driver of business impact. We’re a curious, driven, and collaborative team that values outcomes over ego, and experimentation over assumption.

You'll partner closely with Product Marketing Managers, Product and Growth teams, using data to deeply understand our audiences and bring our product experiences to life in ways that drive acquisition, conversion, and retention.

Your Experience

Must have:

  • Proven experience in a senior creative role, ideally in a fast-paced, consumer-facing tech or health app.
  • Experience working in a product-led environment.
  • Exceptional copywriting and messaging development skills across web, mobile, email, and product surfaces.
  • Strong creative portfolio showcasing work that combines performance with emotion—data with insight.
  • Comfort in using performance metrics (CTR, CVR, ARPU, LTV, etc.) to guide and evaluate creative decisions.
  • Ability to balance creative risk-taking with rigorous testing and iteration.
  • Track record of close collaboration with Product, Growth, and Engineering teams to build and launch successful campaigns.
  • Familiarity with LLMs, generative AI, or emerging tools in creative workflows.
  • A clear and confident communicator who can present ideas and influence senior stakeholders.

Nice to have:

  • Background in healthtech, femtech, or wellness-focused products.
  • Experience scaling creative operations in a start-up or scale-up setting.

What you'll be doing

You'll be responsible for:

  • Translating complex product features and updates into clear, benefit-driven messaging that speaks to user needs and drives action.
  • Bringing Flo’s brand voice to life across multiple touchpoints (email, push notifications, marketing playbooks) with sharp, emotionally resonant copywriting.
  • Using data and insights to inform campaign development and creative direction—every word and concept should serve a purpose.
  • Collaborating deeply with Product Managers, Growth Marketers, Analysts, and Designers to craft seamless, impactful user journeys.
  • Working closely with our Content, Brand, and Performance Marketing teams to ensure creative consistency and shared learnings.
  • Owning the experimentation roadmap for marketing creative—develop hypotheses, lead A/B tests, and optimize based on results.
  • Contributing to strategic planning, team rituals, and cross-functional workflows that improve the way we build and market products.

You'll be targeted on:

  • Performance of marketing creative in driving acquisition, engagement, conversion, and retention.
  • Effective collaboration across Product, Growth, and Brand functions.
  • Quality and consistency of messaging across user touchpoints.
  • Contribution to a high-performing team culture.

How we work

We’re a mission-led, product-driven team. We move fast, stay focused and take ownership – from brief to build to impact. Debate is encouraged. Decisions are shared. We care about craft, ship with purpose, and always raise the bar.

You’ll be working with people who take their work seriously, not themselves. It takes commitment, resilience, and the drive to keep going when things get tough. Because better health outcomes are worth it.

What you'll get

We support impact with meaningful reward. Here’s what that looks like:

  • Competitive salary and annual reviews
  • Opportunity to participate in Flo’s performance incentive scheme
  • Paid holiday, sick leave, and female health leave
