Job Description:

This is a great opportunity to bring your skills in building communication strategies that deliver strong stakeholder engagement and increase audience reach across various channels including digital, social media, and in-person events to the Soil Association Farmer Communications team. You'll work on EU Commissioned pan-European projects collaborating with researchers, scientists, farmers, and land managers to reach diverse stakeholders from policy makers to farmers and citizens, promoting vital changes in agroecological farming and soil health management. As part of the communication network at the Soil Association, working closely with the Farmer & Land Use team, you will collaborate with partners across 13 countries to highlight the milestones of these high-profile projects and boost their visibility through our European project channels and to farming audiences.

About You

You should have significant experience in delivering communication strategies and activities that meet project targets and deadlines, working with multiple partners and contributors to extract notable outputs and impacts. You will create a variety of content including news pieces, blog posts, podcasts, media articles, interviews, infographics, videos, events, and social media content. You enjoy translating complex, science-based outcomes into accessible content for a broad range of stakeholders, from policy makers to farmers, citizens, students, and industry sectors. You are personable, eager to network, build relationships, and collaborate effectively. You are organized, experienced in planning activities aligned with project goals, and capable of managing budgets.
