Are you a strategic thinker, confident in challenging the status quo and able to demonstrate your ability to read and translate marketing data?

If so then Travis Perkins are currently recruiting for a Senior Marketing Analyst.

This role will be to manage and coordinate the work of the data analytics team to deliver insight and campaign data to the marketing & digital team, and customer KPI metrics to the wider business.

This role is Hybrid working, so travel to our Travis Perkins head office based in Northampton is usually required once or twice a week!

The successful candidate will:

  1. Produce analysis to measure the effectiveness of all marketing activity, to help shape future campaigns and ensure effective customer targeting.
  2. Interrogate data and trends in order to highlight areas of concern; use customer data to drive sales and margin performance for the company.
  3. Provide insight on all marketing campaigns and make recommendations for future campaigns.
  4. Through effective people and priority management, ensure the smooth delivery of insight and campaign data.
  5. Continue the development of the customer dashboard that can be shared across the business, ensuring that both finance and marketing data are aligned.
  6. Support the marketing team with campaign selections and BAU processes when required, ensuring to follow the principles of GDPR.
  7. Research and apply new analytical techniques to help provide further insight and personalisation for customers.
  8. Use SQL and Google Sheets for delivery of work with potentially some Python.

What you’ll need to know:

  1. Degree in a numerate subject.
  2. Experience in an industry which deals with volume customers (e.g., retail).
  3. Budget management.
  4. Ability to use data software to interrogate information.
  5. Presenting to multiple stakeholders.
  6. Project management.
  7. Knowledge of different software packages and understanding of how data lakes etc. are structured.
  8. Able to communicate effectively at all levels.
  9. Excellent attention to detail.
  10. Able to interpret a single-minded proposition and brief.
