Senior Marketing Analyst

Description

A data-driven, highly analytical Senior Marketing Measurement Analyst to lead the evaluation and optimisation of our marketing effectiveness across all channels. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping marketing strategy by providing clear, actionable insights into campaign performance, customer behaviour, and return on investment. The ideal candidate brings hands-on expertise with major marketing platforms (paid search, paid social, programmatic, affiliates, email, and CRM) and understands how to connect the dots across the full customer journey. This role will work closely with the marketing, CRM, digital, and finance teams to enable smarter decision-making through robust reporting and performance analysis.

Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end marketing performance measurement, delivering insights across paid, owned, and earned channels.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports that clearly communicate campaign effectiveness, ROI, and key KPIs (CAC, LTV, retention, attribution, etc.).
  • Analyse and interpret data from platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok, Google Analytics (GA4), email/CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Klaviyo), and affiliate networks.
  • Partner with CRM teams to evaluate lifecycle marketing performance, segmentation, and audience strategy.
  • Work with marketing and media teams to test, measure, and optimise channel mix and budget allocation.
  • Support advanced attribution modelling and MMM (Marketing Mix Modelling) initiatives where applicable.
  • Translate complex data into simple insights and recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Identify marginal gains and performance levers across channels and customer touchpoints.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across all marketing and CRM systems.
  • Monitor marketing KPIs on a daily/weekly basis and proactively flag performance issues or opportunities.
Qualifications / Skills
  • Strong experience in marketing analytics, ideally in a fast-paced eCommerce, retail environment.
  • Deep understanding of multi-channel marketing performance and platforms – across paid search (Google), paid social (Meta), display, affiliates (AWIN), SEO, and CRM.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and analytics tools such as Google Analytics (GA4), Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Experience with data extraction using SQL or familiarity with data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake).
  • Strong knowledge of attribution models and customer lifecycle metrics (CAC, LTV, churn, etc.).
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and a passion for uncovering insights in complex datasets.
  • Ability to clearly communicate insights to stakeholders at all levels and influence marketing strategy.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously and working with both technical and creative teams.
