Senior Marine Engineer
Location: Hampshire, UK (Relocation support available)

Overview:
We’re currently seeking an experienced Senior Marine Engineer to join a well-established engineering organisation delivering high-impact projects across carbon capture, offshore energy, hydrogen, renewables, and onshore developments. This role is ideal for someone with strong marine systems design experience, particularly in floating or FPSO environments.
Hybrid Working Flexibility:
This position offers a hybrid model with up to 12 remote days per month, plus the option to carry 1 day over — offering around 60% flexibility for remote working.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the offshore marine systems design team and oversee technical delivery.
Plan team activity and establish effective internal project workflows.
Review and approve technical documentation and ensure standards are met before release.
Define optimal technical solutions for marine systems in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams during all project phases.
Ensure compliance with applicable marine and pipeline design standards and internal HSEQ policies.
Interpret naval architecture and structural interfaces within marine systems.
Review technical deliverables and documents from contractors and shipyards.
Minimum Requirements:
Degree-qualified engineer with a strong background in marine systems design.
Demonstrated experience in FEED and detailed engineering of floating/facility-based projects such as FPSOs or LNG installations.
Solid understanding of cargo loading and offtake systems.
Experience working across multiple project types including offshore, hydrogen, and renewables is a plus.
