Job summary

Aurora Lifesciences in West Yorkshire is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineering Technician to join our growing engineering team. You will be hands-on, taking ownership of preventative maintenance and troubleshooting to keep manufacturing equipment reliable in a highly regulated medical devices environment.

You will work with Manufacturing Engineers and Quality teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with QMS, health and safety, and regulatory requirements while supporting

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent technical qualification.
• 3+ years in manufacturing, maintenance, or technical support.
• Experience in preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis.
• Hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment and measurement tools.
• Gauge R&R / MSA knowledge is advantageous.
• Experience coordinating external maintenance providers.
• Regulated manufacturing environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and coordinate preventative maintenance across equipment.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and implement corrective actions.
• Lead Gauge R&R and MSA studies to assess measurement accuracy.
• Support facilities and infrastructure maintenance with external contractors.
• Identify opportunities for improving equipment performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers on setup, measurements and projects.
• Develop and maintain maintenance records and procedures.
• Manage workshop tools, spares, and 6S compliant areas.
• Ensure compliance with QMS, health and safety, and regulatory requirements.
