Job description

Senior Manufacturing Project Engineers are the backbone of our innovative process engineering team at Siemens Healthineers Magnet Technology, leading the charge in procuring and qualifying cutting-edge equipment.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  1. New Equipment Development: Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing equipment tailored to meet project requirements for new product introductions.
  2. Testing and Verification: Lead and execute FAT processes to confirm the equipment meets design specifications, functional requirements, and quality standards before it leaves the manufacturer’s site.
  3. On-Site Commissioning: Supervise the installation, testing, and start-up of new equipment, ensuring systems are integrated correctly and operate safely and efficiently.
  4. Documentation and Compliance: Prepare detailed reports, test protocols, and commissioning plans while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and project requirements.

Your qualifications and experience:

  • Excellent structured problem-solving skills. You will have experience in identifying a root cause to an unknown technical problem and implementing a plan for resolution.
  • A Degree in Engineering, Science, manufacturing (or related subject) or extensive equivalent experience.
  • Experience in a Launch Engineer, New Product Introduction, Project Engineer, Manufacturing Technology Engineer, Process Engineer, Advanced Manufacturing Engineer or similar. Our team comes from a diverse range of industries and backgrounds. The ability to problem solve complex challenges is the key skill.
