Job summary

Thorlabs Ltd in Ely is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Operator to join the production team on the First Shift. You will work hands-on with precision machinery, including Trumpf TruLaser 3030, Mazak Optiplex NEO, and Amada Brake Press, to process sheet materials for the Optical Tables product line.

Qualifications

High level of mechanical aptitude and practical skills.
Experience working with sheet materials and industrial presses.
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary project team.
Willingness to participate in training for new equipment.
Commitment to health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

Operate Trumpf TruLaser 3030, Mazak Optiplex NEO, and Amada Brake Press.
Process sheet materials and feed the press brake and drilling machines.
Identify opportunities to improve product quality and production output.
Undergo training to master a wide range of processes and equipment.
