Overview
Raytheon UK have a fantastic opportunity for an Engineer to work on the full product lifecycle to launch a new product into production through our NPI Engineering opportunities. This is an Engineering role that works in our Manufacturing area so a blend of Engineering and Manufacturing skills from previous roles and qualifications is essential for this role.

Responsibilities
- Work on the full product lifecycle to launch a new product into production through NPI Engineering opportunities.
- Operate in a role that blends Engineering and Manufacturing skills in the Manufacturing area.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Production on electronics, electro-mechanical, or mechanical projects where experience with electronic products is demonstrated.
- Apply knowledge/experience of electronic circuit card assembly (CCA), PCB, SMT, and electronic box build to Manufacturing projects with specialist areas supported by the team.
- Engage with projects suitable for candidates from Manufacturing, Defence, Engineering, Semiconductor backgrounds or similar.
- Support the New Product Introduction (NPI) lifecycle for electronic manufacturing projects (e.g., CCA, SMT, PCB).
- Participate in BPSS baseline pre-employment security checks as required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Manufacturing Production Engineering background or an Engineering background that has collaborated with Manufacturing Production.
- Key skills include electronics, electro-mechanical or mechanical domains with experience in electronic products.
- Knowledge/experience of electronic circuit card assembly (CCA), PCB, SMT, and electronic box build is ideal.
- Relevant industry experience in Manufacturing, Defence, Engineering, Semiconductor or similar companies.
- HND/degree ideally in Manufacturing or Engineering subjects (preferably electronic, mechanical or similar) with relevant industry experience.
- Experience with NPI for electronic manufacturing projects (e.g., CCA, SMT, PCB) and knowledge of the electronic NPI lifecycle.
Eligibility
- Permanent UK residency is required to complete the BPSS baseline pre-employment security check.
