Job description

Raytheon UK has a fantastic opportunity for an Engineer to work on the full product lifecycle, from development to production, through our NPI Engineering opportunities. This is an engineering role situated within our Manufacturing area, requiring a blend of engineering and manufacturing skills from previous roles and qualifications.

Raytheon UK is a global manufacturing leader in the Aerospace and Defence industry. Our engineers work on important projects across the defence sector, focusing on high-quality standards and delivering excellent products to our customers.

For this role, you will need a background in Manufacturing Production Engineering or an engineering background that has collaborated closely with manufacturing production. Key skills include electronics, electro-mechanical, or mechanical engineering, with experience in electronic products being advantageous. Knowledge or experience in electronic circuit card assembly (CCA), manufacturing processes, and electronic box build would be ideal, given some specialist areas supported by the team in manufacturing.

Candidates from manufacturing, defence, engineering, semi-conductor, or similar industries are ideal. Candidates with HND or degrees in manufacturing or engineering, preferably in electronics, mechanical, or related fields, along with relevant industry experience, are encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will need to have permanent UK residency to complete a BPSS baseline pre-employment security check.
