Position Summary:

This role supports the production of medical devices, involving technical and administrative duties related to electro-mechanical test equipment within a cGMP environment, with proper documentation.

Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities & Essential Functions:
  • Perform repair and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical systems using diagnostic tools.
  • Follow specifications, schematics, and instructions.
  • Collaborate with production staff to diagnose failures and identify root causes.
  • Analyze failure trends and implement process improvements.
  • Adjust processes to support production needs.
  • Research, purchase, and maintain parts and tools.
  • Develop fixtures and modify existing equipment.
  • Perform and document preventive maintenance.
  • Provide technical input to the team leader.
  • Ensure compliance with standards and procedures.
  • Maintain work area and equipment reliability.
Skills & Capabilities:
  • Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics; operate a multimeter.
  • Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical systems, PLCs, and hardware control.
  • Root cause analysis skills.
  • Ability to work with urgency in a production environment.
Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge & Experience:

  • High school diploma plus 5 years’ experience or vocational diploma with 3-5 years’ experience in electro-mechanical work.

Additional Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • English as primary language.
