Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for our Limerick site. The role focuses on providing engineering support in a high-volume, fully automated manufacturing environment, deploying technical solutions and driving continuous improvement.

You will work on lens production processes, develop documentation, and collaborate across engineering disciplines to optimize performance while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in production/manufacturing/mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with statistical methods (black belt) is a plus.
• Familiarity with equipment validation in an FDA environment.
• 4 years’ experience in a relevant engineering role.

Responsibilities

• Deploy technical solutions and develop site capability for engineering & technology.
• Design, install and improve lens production processes and equipment.
• Publish troubleshooting docs and training materials for materials and equipment.
• Lead cost and technical improvements under CI program.
• Provide timely reporting on project activities and manage cross-functional interfaces.
• Ensure compliance with Quality System documents and safety/environmental requirements.
