Job summary

Qualifications

• Detailed Assembly Processing knowledge (Electro Mechanical, Bonding, etc).
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and quality improvement tools.
• Experience with CAD software for generating 2D technical drawings.
• Solid understanding of MRP systems and experience managing BOMs and routings in SAP (or similar ERP).
• Proven ability to drive cultural and process change, improving efficiency and quality.
• A collaborative mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
• Composite processing knowledge would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing processes.
• Define sequence of operations, procedures and layouts for assemblies, processing and material handling.
• Provide Basis of Estimates for engineering activities and shop floor operations.
• Identify tooling & fixturing requirements.
• Create detailed process instructions and Manufacturing BOMs/routings.
• Participate in MDWT meetings and support roadmaps for improvements.
• Assist with capital plan requirements and production support.
