Senior Manufacturing Engineer - Implantable Medical Devices - Cambridge

An exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing Implantable Medical Devices division and contribute to innovative Medical Technologies. We are seeking a Senior or Principal Manufacturing Engineer with experience in designing production and manufacturing systems within the Medical Devices, Biotechnology, or Sciences industries.

Requirements include a degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Process Engineering, along with experience in Manufacturing or Process Engineering, designing in 3D CAD, and maintaining production machinery.

The role involves supporting design teams across multiple functions, focusing on Design for Manufacturing (DFM). Responsibilities include building prototypes, testing new rigs, and ensuring medical devices are functional and efficiently manufacturable. Supply Chain experience is highly advantageous.

You will engage in designing, building, and testing systems, as well as maintaining production machinery. As the group expands, the role offers excellent opportunities for career advancement.

You will lead various projects and collaborate effectively within teams based on project requirements.

Knowledge of ISO 13485, QMS, and GMP is expected due to collaboration with other Medical Devices divisions.
