Main duties of the job

About our team

As a Senior Assistant Technical Officer, you will:

  • Support day-to-day operations in the Quality Assurance department, working in line with GMP and departmental procedures
  • Enforce quality management systems through accurate documentation and maintenance of quality indicators
  • Liaise with senior production colleagues to schedule and complete all monitoring and checks on time
  • Inspect raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure full compliance with specifications

Person Specification
Experience
  • Completion of in-house or equivalent training packages and proven competence.
  • Demonstrated ability to work to set procedures and follow written instructions.
  • Minimum 2 years working in an aseptic preparation / GMP / GLP environment in a Pharmacy Support worker post equivalent or above.
  • Completion of external training packages relating to GMP.
  • Competence in Microsoft excel / word and report monitoring experience.
Qualifications
  • GCSE level C or above including maths, English and a science or equivalent qualifications or previous work experience that demonstrates comparable ability within a GMP/Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) environment.
