About your team:

This position is for a Senior Manager in the Windows engineering arm of the Windows Platform team. The role involves developing and implementing Windows services, including Azure, VDI, IAM, M365 Services, and AWS Windows Services. The candidate will lead the maintenance and build of virtual endpoints and cloud management services, and expand the adoption of M365 services. Collaboration with cross-department leaders from infrastructure and security teams is essential to automate and improve our service offerings. This role demands strong organization skills and expertise in Windows and cloud services to advance the IBKR Windows platform for employees.

Responsibilities at IBKR:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop IAM strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Configure and manage IAM systems and tools, such as governance platforms, directory services, and authentication mechanisms.
• Provide technical support and guidance on IAM issues, troubleshooting, and best practices.
• Develop and maintain IAM policies, standards, and procedures ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
• Participate in planning, implementing, and expanding AWS and Azure foundational infrastructure.
• Work with technology teams on application understanding, migration recommendations, and architecture planning in AWS/Azure.
• Serve as a strong Azure Solutions Architect with hands-on experience in data migration, security, replication, backup, and Azure Data Lifecycle management.
• Develop and follow SOPs for issue resolution and documentation.
• Report on project progress and key metrics, and propose improvements to enhance product or project delivery.

Required Skills:

• 10 years of Azure/AWS engineering and development experience.
• 10 years of on-premise to cloud migration experience.
• 7 years of automating deployment and maintenance of Windows workloads.
• 7 years of experience with Infrastructure as Code.
• 5+ years of engineering experience with IAM services (Entra, Ping, Okta, etc.).
• Experience supervising technical personnel for 5+ years.
• Strong expertise in IAM technologies including Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID, CyberArk, Okta, SailPoint, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with provisioning, access controls, RBAC, and authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, LDAP, OIDC, SCIM).
• Proficiency in coding and scripting automation (PowerShell, Python, etc.).
• Experience with cloud IAM solutions, roles, policies, and best practices.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 environment.
• Knowledge of VDI technologies like VMware Horizon and Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Understanding of cloud computing concepts (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS).
