Job summary

Moderna is seeking a Senior Manager, Government Affairs – UK, based in London, to shape and execute the UK Government Affairs strategy with a broad UK remit. You will engage policymakers, translate political insights into policy positions, and collaborate across Communications, Medical, Marketing and Market Access to align objectives.

Qualifications

• Degree in Health Policy, Political Science, Law or another relevant area of specialisation.
• Strong public policy and legislative background with experience engaging external stakeholders and crafting clear policy positions.
• Track record identifying policy trends affecting health sector or biopharmaceutical industry; vaccines policy is a plus.
• Strategic thinking with ability to incorporate perspectives from different stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of Moderna’s Government Affairs strategy in the UK.
• Engage externally to promote a supportive UK policy environment for innovative vaccines, especially respiratory vaccines.
• Build Moderna’s presence among parliamentarians, government officials and agencies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to set shared public policy goals and influence policymakers.
• Develop and support external projects to shape the broader policy environment.
• Manage relationships with industry associations and participate in relevant groups.
