Summary of role purpose:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager to join our rapidly expanding Corporate Treasury Services team. Our team focuses on serving the world's leading Corporate Treasuries with their most complex business challenges and is experiencing significant growth. We offer expertise in financial products and markets, risk management, systems, governance, valuation, and accounting. We collaborate closely with other functions within KPMG, such as Audit, Risk Consulting, and Management Consulting, to provide comprehensive treasury advisory services.
As a Senior Manager, you will engage directly with clients, responding to technical queries, leveraging your expertise, and identifying when additional input from colleagues is necessary. Your role will also involve leading business development efforts, contributing to the team's growth. As a member of the leadership team, you will promote and exemplify the department's cultural values. You will lead and supervise teams, including offshore staff, and manage performance for a small team.
Description of the role:
You will work in teams delivering projects related to treasury transformation, technology, risk management, and technical accounting advice (non-audited entities only).
Our work includes:
- Selecting and implementing Treasury Management Systems
- Leading treasury transformation projects involving cash management, payments, reporting, bank connectivity, or cash forecasting
- Implementing payment factories, in-house banks, and banking integration solutions
- Developing and implementing treasury strategies for cash management, payments, FX, debt, investments, and working capital
- Reviewing and implementing treasury strategies, policies, and operating models
- Conducting risk management assessments, including FX, interest rate, credit, and commodities
- Delivering treasury advisory projects, including strategy reviews and target operating models
- Creating thought leadership, presentations, and marketing materials
- Supporting business development for KPMG's treasury offerings and responding to client proposals
- Contributing to treasury strategy, team management, and other non-delivery responsibilities
- Managing performance of junior staff, fostering their development
- Maintaining relevant professional qualifications to ensure up-to-date knowledge
- Additional responsibilities include team leadership, technical risk and compliance management, project oversight, budgeting, stakeholder management, and proposal participation
- Significant time may be spent at client sites or KPMG offices

The person:
- Experience in audit or accounting advisory at Senior Manager level within a professional services firm (D)
- Experience in a Corporate Treasury function with strong technical knowledge (D)
- Technical knowledge of treasury strategies and their application (E)
- Knowledge of Treasury Management Systems and related solutions (E)
- Experience managing teams and mentoring junior staff (E)
- Proven track record in managing complex projects and stakeholder engagement (E)
- Business development experience (E)
