The role

Our growing transfer pricing team is seeking an experienced Transfer Pricing Manager to expand our service offerings. Candidates should have a solid background advising on transfer pricing across various industries and sectors.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic, friendly team, develop this role, and grow our client base. The role has arisen due to increasing demand from our international entrepreneurial clients for transfer pricing solutions.

Applicants should have practical experience with UK transfer pricing legislation. Knowledge of international corporate tax principles is also advantageous.

We offer exposure to international mid-market entrepreneurial and private wealth clients, enhancing your technical, commercial, and professional skills.

The responsibilities

• Manage and deliver transfer pricing projects, including technical input, resource management, and reporting to the transfer pricing director.
• Possess broad practical and theoretical transfer pricing experience across sectors, including advising on and implementing transfer pricing methods. Financial services experience is not required as training is provided.
• Provide practical transfer pricing advice and deliver TP design and documentation projects for approval by the transfer pricing director.
• Advise on intellectual property transactions, DEMPE analysis, business restructuring, and operational transfer pricing solutions.
• Collaborate with the transfer pricing director and tax partners to grow our service line and build the pipeline of opportunities.
• Assist with proposals, budgets, and new work streams for transfer pricing, including audit support.
• Project manage multi-territory transfer pricing solutions for clients.
• Build relationships with client service teams in your region.
• Train and mentor junior team members.
• Manage your portfolio financially and proactively, working with global specialists.
• Respond proactively to client and stakeholder needs, ensuring effective communication.

The team

The Transfer Pricing Team is part of Saffery's Corporate Tax division. The ideal candidate has solid transfer pricing experience across industries and is a dependable team player who embodies our firm’s values.

Led by our Transfer Pricing Director, the team services all Saffery offices nationally. It is a small, growing team focused on marketing, tendering, delivering projects, and international tax aspects of transfer pricing.

You

The role suits a qualified professional with several years of post-qualification transfer pricing experience, including:

• Experience with complex transactions, intellectual property, restructuring, and operational transfer pricing.
• Practical experience delivering solutions to diverse clients and a background in international taxation.
• Knowledge of UK transfer pricing legislation, debt, HMRC guidance, and the UK Corporate Interest Restriction legislation.
• A broad international tax background, especially in asset management transfer pricing.
• Degree-level education and relevant qualifications such as ACA, CTA, ADIT, law, or international equivalents.
