Job summary

PwC UK is seeking a Senior Manager for its Tax Technology & Transformation team. The role can be permanent or on a 12‑month secondment, delivering complex tax transformation programmes spanning tax, technology and business change.

You will lead large-scale ERP implementation workstreams (SAP, Oracle, Workday), manage plans, budgets and governance, and collaborate with SMEs to design technology-enabled tax processes. Mentoring junior colleagues is also encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day delivery of large-scale tax transformation and ERP implementation programmes across SAP, Oracle and Workday.
• Own programme plans, budgets, governance, risks and dependencies, ensuring quality and alignment with client objectives and PwC standards.
• Work with SMEs to design and deliver technology-enabled processes across direct tax, indirect tax, transfer pricing and customs duties.
• Build trusted client relationships, acting as a key day-to-day contact and communicating progress, issues and decisions clearly.
• Mentor and coach junior team members across tax, consulting and technology.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Manager to join our Tax Technology & Transformation team at PwC UK, either permanently or on a 12-month secondment. This is an experienced, hands‑on role with day‑to‑day responsibility for complex tax transformation programmes spanning tax, technology and business change. You will work with some of our largest clients, take ownership of delivery and help turn ambitious transformation plans into measurable outcomes.

What your days will look like:

• Lead the day‑to‑day delivery of large‑scale tax transformation and ERP implementation programmes, including SAP, Oracle and Workday, across multiple workstreams.

• Own programme plans, budgets, governance, risks and dependencies, maintaining quality and alignment with client objectives and PwC standards.

• Work with SMEs to design and deliver technology‑enabled processes across direct tax, indirect tax, transfer pricing and customs duties.

• Build trusted client relationships, acting as a key day‑to‑day contact and communicating progress, issues and decisions clearly.

• Bring together colleagues from across tax, consulting and technology, while supporting the development of junior team members through coaching and feedback.
