Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Sourcing & Procurement Senior Manager to lead strategic cost reduction and procurement transformations for top clients in the UK. You will drive end-to-end strategy and implement digital procurement capabilities across multiple platforms, while managing senior client relationships and delivery teams.

The role requires experience across procurement transformations, ERP projects, and vendor management, with a focus on delivering tangible business value and scalable operating

Qualifications

• Extensive consulting and/or project delivery experience with clear scope, timelines and budgets from a top-tier firm or blue-chip organisation.
• Functional experience in direct/indirect materials, SG&A and procurement cost takeout.
• Procurement technology and digital disruptor awareness, including SAP Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer, iValua; analytics.
• Experience working across Financial Services, Energy, Utilities, High-Tech, and Logistics industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects and delivery teams in Sourcing & Procurement to formulate and execute strategic cost reduction and procurement transformations.
• Oversee end-to-end strategy to implementation of procurement’s digital and analytics capabilities (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle, Coupa, Jaggaer, iValua).
• Drive supply chain transformations aligned with client challenges.
• Create capabilities in line with the future operating model (process/tools/people).
• Analyse and model financial data to support large-scale cost reduction programmes.
• Help clients improve decision making through digital planning, reporting and analytics.
• Harness digital tech (RPA, IoT, Blockchain, Analytics, AI) to power operating strategies.
• Develop relationships with key vendors and Accenture’s strategic partners.
• Lead business development opportunities and prepare sales proposals.
• Develop Accenture’s Supply Chain assets, tools and PoVs to support sales and education.
• Engage with clients’ CPO/COO/CFO and Supply Chain executives.
