We are looking for a Senior Manager, Social Marketing to lead global social for our luxury and lifestyle portfolio. This is a unique opportunity to shape how the world experiences our iconic brands online, ensuring we not only participate in culture, but set the pace for it.

Your Day to Day

  • Lead the global social media strategy for IHG’s luxury and lifestyle brands, ensuring a distinct and consistent brand voice across platforms and markets.
  • Drive brand differentiation in the social space—standing apart from traditional luxury narratives and bringing our brands to life through fresh, engaging, and on-brand storytelling.
  • Collaborate closely with brand, PR, Operations, Commercial, Campaign, and regional marketing teams to ensure alignment and integration across all touchpoints.
  • Oversee content development, publishing calendars, community management principles, and performance metrics to continuously optimize impact.
  • Guide and inspire both internal and agency teams in the execution of best-in-class, social-first creative.
  • Monitor the evolving social landscape to ensure IHG remains ahead of trends, culture, and platform innovation.
  • Identify and activate new platform opportunities, championing innovation and relevance in our social approach.

What We Need From You

  • Significant experience (10+ years) in interactive marketing with a strong focus on social media marketing for a global brand, ideally within luxury, hospitality, travel, fashion, or premium consumer goods.
  • Demonstrated ability to shape and implement global social strategy with a focus on brand building, creativity, and performance.
  • Strong creative instincts paired with data fluency—you understand what works, why, and how to improve.
  • Deep knowledge of social platforms, influencer ecosystems, paid social, content planning, and emerging trends.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with experience leading across multiple geographies and teams.
  • A passion for luxury branding and design, with a clear understanding of premium tone, content aesthetics, and digital storytelling.
