Reports to: VP, Grober Nutrition

Purpose:

Reporting to the VP of Grober Nutrition, the Senior Manager of Sales and Marketing will develop and execute strategic plans to drive revenue and expand market share. As a key member of the management team, this role will lead sales and marketing professionals, collaborate across departments, and maintain strong relationships with current partners, dealers, distributors, and producers. The role also involves identifying strategic opportunities to generate new business leads and enhance Grober Nutrition’s reputation in the animal nutrition industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve significant growth over the next three years, including partnerships, innovation, and distribution channels.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the sales and marketing team to ensure high performance and achievement of targets.
  • Set clear objectives and KPIs for the teams.
  • Conduct market analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on market trends and performance.
  • Support marketing efforts to create consistent content that protects and grows the business.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing distribution partners.
  • Identify and develop new outreach strategies to grow the business and profitability.
  • Build a pipeline of potential distribution partners across Canada.
  • Identify new product opportunities for distribution and share customer insights internally.
  • Stay current on industry trends, including feeding technologies, to maintain industry leadership.
  • Develop relationships with researchers, consultants, veterinarians, and influencers for collaboration and brand advancement.
  • Enhance direct sales capabilities to larger farms through existing channels.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading sales and marketing teams, with a proven record of profitable growth, preferably in Animal Nutrition or Agriculture.
  • Experience in market growth, new business development, and customer acquisition.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and networking skills; visibility in the agricultural community is preferred.
  • Leadership experience supporting sales and marketing teams.
  • Strategic thinking with analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel across Canada for events and partnerships.
