A leading telecommunications company in the UK is seeking a Risk and Controls Senior Manager to spearhead risk management and governance in the Consumer Unit. The role involves leading a team, ensuring the effectiveness of control frameworks, and supporting strategic decision-making for senior management. The ideal candidate will have experience with internal controls in complex organizations and strong stakeholder engagement skills. We are looking for the right individual to join our team who not only brings in the right skills and experience in risk and control management, but also has a passion for making the outputs clear and insightful to stakeholders so that it becomes a key factor in BT's future success. The Risk and Controls Senior Manager is responsible for the overall governance, maintenance and continuous improvement of the key control framework in the Consumer Unit, as well as supporting effective risk management of dynamic risks. The role will ensure that Consumer Unit senior management and the Group are provided with clear line of sight on the effectiveness of the control environment and are able to use the output to prioritise and course correct where required.
