Job description

Senior Manager Research Analyst - Single Family Office

Our client is a London-based Single-Family Office who are seeking to hire an experienced Manager Research Analyst to join the investment team.

The successful candidate will work alongside the Chief Investment Officer and play a key role in the investment decision-making process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth fund research and analysis to identify, evaluate and recommend investment funds across a diverse range of asset classes, with a primary focus on public markets
  • Lead investment due diligence process, including benchmarking external funds and evaluating fund structures to determine suitability for the portfolio
  • Deliver data-driven investment recommendations and insights to support investment decisions
  • Proactively monitor emerging investment themes to uncover new opportunities
  • Track market developments and portfolio risks to provide actionable investment insights
  • Support the CIO in portfolio management and strategic asset allocation

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum 6-10 years of experience in similar manager research/fund selection role at an asset management firm or family office
  • Strong knowledge of traditional and alternative asset classes
  • Excellent analytical skills with experience using tools such as Bloomberg and Morningstar
  • CFA qualification or equivalent would be desirable
  • Self-motivated, intellectually curious and comfortable working independently
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think critically about market trends
