Job Description:

Our client is a London-based Single-Family Office who are seeking to hire an experienced Manager Research Analyst to join the investment team. The successful candidate will work alongside the Chief Investment Officer and play a key role in the investment decision-making process.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct in-depth fund research and analysis to identify, evaluate and recommend investment funds across a diverse range of asset classes, with a primary focus on public markets.
  2. Lead investment due diligence process, including benchmarking external funds and evaluating fund structures to determine suitability for the portfolio.
  3. Deliver data-driven investment recommendations and insights to support investment decisions.
  4. Proactively monitor emerging investment themes to uncover new opportunities.
  5. Track market developments and portfolio risks to provide actionable investment insights.
  6. Support the CIO in portfolio management and strategic asset allocation.

Candidate Requirements:

  1. Minimum 6-10 years of experience in similar manager research/fund selection role at an asset management firm or family office.
  2. Strong knowledge of traditional and alternative asset classes.
  3. Excellent analytical skills with experience using tools such as Bloomberg and Morningstar.
  4. CFA qualification or equivalent would be desirable.
  5. Self-motivated, intellectually curious and comfortable working independently.
  6. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think critically about market trends.
