Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. in Newport, UK, seeks a Senior Manager of Quality and Reliability to lead the reliability function, implement robust quality systems and drive best-in-class processes for SiC power devices.

You will collaborate with R&D, Engineering and Operations, represent Vishay in JEDEC and AECQ, and mentor a global team to meet customer requirements and industry standards. A PhD or Masters in electronics engineering and 10+ years in quality and reliability in the semiconductor

Qualifications

PhD or MSc in electronics engineering, physics or related microelectronics field.
10+ years in quality and reliability at semiconductor industry leadership level.
5+ years in wide-bandgap power semiconductor tech (SiC).
Experience leading global teams in reliability testing of SiC MOSFETs/diodes; GaN experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and DOE.
Knowledge of TCAD tools for device simulation (Sentaurus, Silvaco).
Excellent leadership and problem-solving; able to drive improvements.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
Background in power semiconductors/semiconductor physics.

Responsabilités

Oversee Newport Reliability to implement quality systems and policies for high quality products.
Support customer issues to achieve quality standards using proper procedures.
Review designs with R&D to define reliability requirements for new tech.
Direct product support in data gathering and analysis.
Select and manage reliability team at Newport to cover functions.
Represent MOSFET division in JEDEC and AECQ.
Build reliability best-in-class standards for new materials/tech.
Design and drive quality requirements for SiC power products.
Establish test methods to understand reliability during R&D, NPI, and HVM.
Lead experiments and statistics for device reliability.
Lead pilots for screening/burn-in to meet requirements.
Lead and contribute to R&D, NPI and HVM quality projects and present results.
Design requirements for test equipment and transfer to manufacturing.
Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders including academia.
