Job summary

HSBC in London is recruiting a Senior Manager in the Performance and Delivery team (Chief of Staff/COO) on a 12-month fixed-term contract to support ERM and GRR governance, planning, and reporting.

You will drive planning, management reporting, governance, and operational activities across ERM and GRR, coordinating audit actions and engaging with senior stakeholders globally while ensuring timely delivery and compliant processes.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of governance and business management frameworks, with design and practical implementation.
• Advanced, fluent written and spoken English, with strong governance and report writing skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and credibly to senior internal and external stakeholders, articulating strategy and vision.
• Strong relationship management and collaboration skills, with experience handling competing stakeholder priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support ERM and GRR Performance & Delivery to deliver initiatives on time and to quality standards.
• Strengthen ERM and GRR infrastructure and processes for effective service delivery.
• Support enhancements to the ERM & GRR Service Catalogue and minimum standards.
• Maintain annual planning activity with executive summaries of priorities.
• Provide governance support: paper collation, minute taking, action tracking, and embedding consistent ways of working.
• Support communications, training and stakeholder deliverables, and oversee audit actions and regulatory findings.
