Job Description:

KPMG’s Pensions Advisory business continues to build out its new pensions team and requires individuals with diverse skill-sets.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Manager to work closely with colleagues on pensions investments across private and public sectors, covering both defined benefit and defined contribution schemes. Key focus areas include:

  • Strategic and dynamic asset allocation, risk hedging, and cashflow matching
  • Portfolio construction and reporting
  • Investment strategy, funding policy, and covenant considerations
  • Investment strategies for various pension journey plans, including risk transfer and superfunds
  • Asset liability modelling
  • Default lifestyling and provider selection in DC
  • Fiduciary manager and OCIO selection and monitoring

The Senior Manager will manage client relationships, coordinate with internal specialists, and oversee team performance, including coaching and development of junior staff. FCA investment advice authorization is required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Market engagement and proposition development
  • Supporting revenue growth
  • Technical training and consulting skill development for juniors
  • Leading client engagements and managing stakeholder relationships
