A highly successful firm of chartered accountants based in Taunton is seeking a Senior Manager or Director - Medical Sector Specialist. This role offers opportunities for career progression, leading client relationships, managing a portfolio, overseeing service delivery, and developing the wider team. The client base will focus on Medical sector clients, GPs, consultants, and other healthcare-related clients.
Based in Taunton, this regional firm of chartered accountants is experiencing continued growth. The firm aims to develop and expand a specialist service line within its office, catering to clients across various sectors including startups, sole traders, partnerships, SMEs, and the medical sector. The successful candidate will focus on growing the medical sector service arm with a clear route for progression.
Based in the firm's Taunton office, the successful candidate will join as a Senior Manager or Director - Medical Sector Specialist, depending on experience. You will manage a sizeable portfolio across accounting, taxation, planning, and business advice, oversee staff and budgets, and aim to grow the medical sector service lines. Building strong client relationships and advising on complex projects such as business and tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, property expansions, and other advisory services will be key responsibilities.
Applicants should hold ACA/ACCA/CTA qualifications and have a strong background in accountancy practice, with experience at managerial or director levels. Skills across accounts, tax, advisory, and planning are essential. The role is suitable for professionals from small, medium, or large firms, or those seeking a long-term move to the South West for career and lifestyle reasons.
