As a Manager of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the International Consumer Bank, you will be a credible engineering leader, managing a squad of Salesforce engineers. You will influence technical implementations, challenge architecture decisions, and focus on delivering customer value sustainably. You will develop standalone Salesforce products and integrate with Nutmeg services to enhance customer experience.

Our teams work in tribes and squads dedicated to specific products and projects, with opportunities to move between them based on your strengths and interests.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Lead a squad of engineers to design, implement, and maintain the Salesforce CRM within the Invest Tribe at Chase UK.
  2. Manage an engineering squad by setting goals, supporting development, and enhancing delivery capabilities.
  3. Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and provide constructive feedback.
  4. Engage in hands-on coding for key features, demonstrating best practices.
  5. Set high standards for code quality, work ethic, and collaboration.
  6. Mentor engineers to foster continuous learning.
  7. Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to align technical efforts with business goals.
  8. Facilitate team meetings and retrospectives to promote communication.
  9. Work with technical leads to design scalable, maintainable solutions.
  10. Use a data-driven approach to establish and track metrics.
  11. Promote an inclusive culture of high-quality engineering and best practices.
  12. Own architecture decisions for Salesforce and guide through governance forums.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Formal training or certification in team management and advanced experience.
  • Strong technical background with excellent teamwork skills.
  • Business-oriented mindset to align engineering with product requirements.
  • Progressive mindset willing to challenge the status quo.
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce automation, deployment, and testing pipelines.
  • Proven track record in CRM features using Salesforce (Service, Sales, Marketing Cloud).
  • Hands-on experience integrating REST APIs and event-driven services.
  • Strong people management skills focused on talent growth.
  • Passion for creating clean, maintainable, and testable code.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Experience with various integration patterns.
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud.
  • Knowledge of data and process modeling tools.
  • Experience with AI/ML in CRM.
  • Multiple Salesforce certifications.
