Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead the Legal Entity Control team, reporting to the Head of Legal Entity Control. Key responsibilities will include managing statutory accounts, audits, board reporting, and technical accounting projects for our UK Group entities. The role involves coordinating audits, delivering reports, supporting acquisitions and restructures, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure accuracy. This position offers will offer further opportunities for personal and professional growth.

How You'll Make An Impact

  • Oversee the daily operations of the wider Legal Entity Control team
  • Review of statutory accounts
  • Support acquisitions, eliminations and group restructures
  • Ensure all processes and checklists are up to date and implement process improvements
  • Work closely with the external auditors and co-ordinate the audit process
  • Oversight and delivery of the quarterly board reporting
  • Oversight and delivery of FCA regulatory reporting
  • Preparation of technical accounting papers
  • Provide technical support to the accountants
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls
  • Ad-hoc projects (such as liquidation/dissolution of entities, assisting with acquisitions)

About You

  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ICAS/CIMA or equivalent)
  • UK GAAP/US GAAP/IFRS experience
  • Experience in people management
  • Experience of dealing with senior stakeholders
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality work within deadlines
  • Strong technical accounting skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
