They are actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA) with a minimum of 5 years post-qualified experience to join as a Senior Manager. The ideal candidate will lead and manage a team, oversee various accounting functions and client accounts, develop client relationships, and possess strong expertise in accounting and taxation principles.

What you will do

  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team, providing guidance to ensure high-quality work within deadlines. Foster a positive team environment.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong client relationships, understand their goals, and provide strategic advice. Address queries promptly.
  • Client Work Oversight: Oversee preparation and review of client work, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
  • Deadline Management: Manage month/period-end deadlines, track progress, and meet billing targets.

What you will have

  • Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CAI/ACCA).
  • Experience: At least 5 years in accountancy practice across sectors including manufacturing, financial services, and SMEs.
  • Skills: Professional, proactive approach; strong communication; attention to detail; relationship-building; knowledge of income and corporation tax; proficiency in accounting software (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks) and MS Office; familiarity with taxation software.
