Job Description

The Head of UK PI Platform Delivery will lead delivery teams responsible for engineering the foundational services of Vanguard UK's direct-to-consumer offerings. This role collaborates with leaders across the UK PI business and other IT organizations to strategize and shape IT demand that delivers business impact. The platform services focus on scalability to serve hundreds of thousands of clients, reusability across teams, and clear documentation to enable speed.

Critical to this role is the ability to operate at multiple levels: shifting between business and technology strategies, and optimizing delivery processes and software lifecycle management. Additionally, the role involves being part of the Manchester senior IT leadership team, establishing regional presence, fostering a strong company culture, and engaging with the local technology and financial services community.

Additional Responsibilities

• Hire, evaluate, and supervise team members; provide guidance and training to develop staff.
• Deliver software releases, manage testing and evaluation of vendor products, and prioritize initiatives to maximize value.
• Develop staffing and operational plans, leveraging global workforce options, and monitor performance metrics.
• Implement policy and procedure changes to meet evolving business needs and pursue continuous improvement.
