Job Description: Senior Manager, Group Treasury

Location: London (hybrid)

Reports to: Deputy Treasurer

Business Area: Group Finance - Investments and Treasury

Banding: Band III

About the Role

We have an excellent opportunity for an individual with broad corporate treasury experience to join our team and take ownership of critical Group Treasury responsibilities, whilst also working closely with senior leadership to drive the standardisation and optimisation of treasury processes across the Group.

Responsibilities
  • Managing Group liquidity and inter-company funding, including cash forecasting and investment of surplus liquidity to generate appropriate risk-adjusted returns.
  • FX risk oversight, including exposure identification and optimisation, and developing and executing hedging strategies.
  • Ownership of liquidity risk management activity, including stress-testing and covenant compliance.
  • Work alongside Finance Leadership to optimise business unit treasury processes across the Group, helping to drive the automation and efficiency of treasury procedures and controls.
  • Lead and develop treasury analysts, setting clear objectives and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, helping to raise the team's profile across the Group and embedding treasury considerations in local decision-making.
  • Foster relationships with key internal functions (FP&A, Financial Control, Capital Management, Risk) and external stakeholders including banks, asset managers and technology providers.
Qualifications & Experience
  • A positive and hard-working individual with experience (7+ years) in corporate treasury, ideally within a regulated financial services environment.
  • Relevant professional Treasury or Accounting qualification.
  • Track record of shaping and implementing treasury frameworks across multiple geographies/entities.
  • Experience in leading on projects and dealing with senior leadership, as well as having the ability to influence, negotiate and act as a trusted business partner.
  • Experience managing and developing junior staff, with a demonstrated ability to build out team capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent stakeholder communication.
  • TMS and Oracle ERP experience desirable.
